On Sunday 17 March we will team up with the Wombat MTB Club to tackle the Wombat Forest trails outside Woodend. Even though it is only 50 kms down the highway, the terrain, the forest and the trails are very different to our normal Castlemaine fare.
These hand built trails provide a great range of singletrack with quite a few technical features thrown in for good measure.
We will split into two groups – one for a faster paced ride, one for a more social pace and maybe a slightly shorter distance.
We will carpool from the Theatre Royal at 9am or you can meet us at the corner of Fingerpost Road and Boldiston Road at 9:45am.
